The challenge

Pantaleon is Central America’s leading sugar producer, with more than 21,000 employees across Guatemala, Nicaragua, Mexico, Brazil and the United States. Their existing fingerprint system often failed to read field workers’ fingerprints, lacked scalability and interoperability, and could not handle attendance in offline field conditions.

The solution

Pantaleon selected NCheck for its accuracy, multi-modality and simplicity. Field workers are enrolled and checked in and out simply by looking at a smartphone carried by their supervisor — no dedicated hardware required. Attendance is captured offline and syncs automatically, managers access data from any location, and rosters are created in minutes.
